Solicit Grid
Every deadline cites the statute. Every fee cites the schedule. Every threshold cites the agency page. If a claim can't be sourced, we mark it UNSOURCED instead of guessing.
Fill in the org panel on the left and hit RUN AUDIT to compile the grid. Every row will link to the state agency page and the specific statute section.
What the Solicit Grid actually does
- 01Ingest your org's fiscal year end, gross receipts, gross contributions, and the states from which you received online donations. No signup gate on the free preview.
- 02For every donor state, look up the statute-specific rules — the form name, the agency, the fee bracket that maps to your gross receipts, the fiscal-year-driven next due date.
- 03Compute the audit-attachment threshold for each state and flag every row where your gross receipts crossed the audit trigger.
- 04Overlay Claude's compliance analyst review — but only where Claude can cite a specific agency publication. If it can't source a claim, we omit it rather than fabricate.
- 05Render the grid. Every factual cell has a caret — click for the receipts panel with the exact statute and agency URL.
- 06Upgrade unlocks the board-ready PDF packet, .ics calendar of all 12 months of deadlines, CSV export, and saved history for next year's rerun.
Questions we get asked
Is this legal advice?
No — and the PDF packet says so on its footer. This is a compliance preflight that tells you what to file, when, at what fee, citing the state statute. Verify each finding with the linked agency page before you file. If you want legal advice, hire a nonprofit attorney.
How does this differ from Harbor Compliance or Labyrinth?
They file for you (roughly $89/state/year, so $3,500+ if you're in all 40 registration states). Solicit Grid is $79 once — it tells you what needs to be filed and generates the packet you hand to your board or a filing service. Not a competitor to full-service filers; a preflight.
What if a state's rule is ambiguous?
We mark the row 'Ambiguous — consult counsel' with a short 'why' explanation. Common cases: DC's registration is issued as a 2-year business license (not FY-based); Kentucky only requires registration if you use a paid professional fundraiser.
Is my data saved?
For paid users, yes — audits are saved so you can rerun next fiscal year with prior inputs pre-filled. For anonymous users, nothing is saved server-side.
What if Claude can't find a citation for a claim?
We omit the claim rather than show an uncited number. You'll see 'Unsourced — verify with agency' in those cells. Cells with published statute cites always show the source URL.
